Description of work
Tour Events
Where and when
Event dates, times and locations can be found on the event webpages. The job starts 15mins before the event open time, but please arrive in plenty of time to get checked in and be given your staff t-shirt. Your employment is completed 30mins after the event close time, unless stated otherwise on your job offer.
Running up to the event date, we send job reminders that contain the details you need to get to the event and what to do when you get there.
Job role
The staff job role can include bar work, litter clearance, recycling and generally looking after the festival goers. You do not need experience to be part of the team. Tasks are allocated during the event and you may change tasks as the need arises. Before the start of the event there will be a staff briefing/training.
Job pay
We pay you to work the full duration of the event, excluding breaks. Pay for England and Wales events is £150.62 GROSS (you will receive £120.50 NET in cash on completion of your work). The Gross pay includes holiday entitlement. Tax and National Insurance contributions are paid at source and you will receive appropriate payslips and paperwork which you can use to claim these deductions back from HMRC if applicable.
What to bring/wear
We may ask for ID when you arrive at the event, to verify your age and confirm your identity.
Wear black clothing and shoes that will be comfortable. You will be given a black branded t-shirt to identify you as a staff member, all sizes available. You're welcome to wear shorts on hot days and remember that it gets cold at night so bring some layers to wear under your staff t-shirt. You will need to return your staff t-shirt at the end of the shift.
It is your responsibility to bring any food or drink (excluding tap water) that you may need. There will be food traders at the event, which you can buy from.
