Fake Festivals Tour & Big Fake Festival 2020 Update.
Firstly thank you for your patience, support and kindness whilst we have been busy working out how we move forward during this unexpected and extremely difficult period for everyone.
Obviously this is a rapidly changing scenario and with no clear facts to make decisions on - that itself has made this a very hard process. Throughout this last week our priorities have always remained the same: The health and well-being of everyone involved with Fake Festivals. That’s the crew, traders, bands, staff, security, suppliers and of course you guys - The Fake Fest fans.
We are so incredibly lucky to have built up such a great festival culture with your support and, despite the uncertainty around recent Government guidelines, we have taken this decision to try to move forward in a positive way.
We therefore intend to start the Fake Festival tour on the 27th June rather than the 25th April. This means that our intention is to be back touring and partying with you for the listed dates on our website from that weekend. The Tour will finish, as planned, with the Big Fake Festival on September 4, 5, 6th.
If your festival is one of those that unfortunately isn’t going ahead then you will receive an automatic refund. This refund will be issued to the card that you used for your booking. Please allow our team some time to process these refunds, we will update you as we go along.
Our intention is to maintain all of the previously advertised tour dates from the 27th June onwards. Certain factors are out of our control but we can’t wait to be back on the road for the (shorter!) tour and for us all to be out of the other side of this incredibly difficult situation.
As Dave would say ‘it’s times like these we learn to live again’
