Back for a 3rd year, Fake Festivals kick off the 2014 UK tour at Percy Park Rugby Club with tributes to The Killers, Queen and The Stereophonics. Last year it was massive with people attending from far and wide, could this years Tynemouth Fake Festival be bigger? Grab your tickets before they go as there is no stopping the Northern contingency when theres a party in town!

Tribute: Stereotonics - With a new album and a stadium tour the Stereophonics are the band of the moment. The Stereotonics recreate the live set in every detail. With a back catalogue spanning over 20 years their set is rammed with classics you will love.

'The Middens' are 4 young - very local - lads who sport the kind of quality in their Punk and Mod inspired original music and covers you'd expect from more experienced musicians. These guys will give us a loud, energetic and edgy performance which will have the marquee bouncing!

'Dalaro' are a talented up and coming four piece Indie/Alternative rock band based in Newcastle. Their very catchy original music combines larger than life lyrics with rhythmically heavy music and have very recently demonstrated their potential by reaching the locally prestigious EvoEmerging final line up!

'The Born Villains' are a 3 guys and 2 girls professional Durham based covers band. They take pride in cranking out classics from the biggest and best Rock bands of the last 30-40 years. Get ready for some massive tunes - ideally suited to one of the best lead singers on the scene!

'The Sound Cartel' are an energetic 4 piece band from Jarrow who specialise in playing Alternative Indie covers - a little different from the norm - and a range of classics from the 50s to the present day. Get ready for a trip down memory lane!
