The Fake Festivals Team
A Fake Festival wouldn't be possible without a team of people dedicated to making the Festival happen. Below is the team and information on who they are and what they do.
Jez Lee (Festival Organiser)
This is Jez Lee who puts the festivals together with his team (see below). He also runs www.fakefaces.co.uk and www.fakebands.co.uk The whole idea of Fake Festivals is to bring a festival experience right into the heart of the local community and give local people a great day out right on their doorstep. With his marquee and his team Jez aims to give you a day out you will all enjoy and remember. Want to contact Jez? Click here
The Marquee (The Venue)
This is the venue; it is a 170 ft x 40 ft traditional marquee complete with stage, lighting and PA rig at one end and a bar at the other. It can hold up to 1000 festival goers. Want to hire the marquee? Click here
Bill Keown (PA Sound Engineer)
This is Bill Keown the man responsible for the sound inside the marquee. Bill has been working with Fake Festivals to get the sound exactly right for live music inside the marquee and has is absolutely spot on. Without Bill there would be no festival as there would be no sound so he is paramount to the team. Want to contact Bill? Click here
Roddy Buxton (Lighting Engineer)
Second from right is Roddy Buxton a wizard when it comes to lighting effects. Roddy works closely with Bill to ensure that the lighting and sound go together to create the maximum atmosphere inside the marquee when the bands are performing. The lighting sets the tone for the band and the song and it is essential to get it right, Roddy does just that at every festival. Want to contact Roddy? Click here
Bar Staff
Here are the bar staff that are ready to take your drinks order from the bar. They are a lively bunch who enjoy working behind the bar serving you with your desired drink. Don't worry if you see them laughing and joking or even doing the limbo between two bars!! As I mentioned they are a lively bunch and a great team so if you like to hang around at the bar you will certainly have fun. Want to contact the bar staff? Click here
