Fake Festivals present the RAF Waddington Fake Festival featuring tribute bands to The Jam, Blondie and the Arctic Monkeys plus local support bands. All held inside the Fake Festivals marquee with a licensed bar and fenced food and entertainment garden area. PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS FOR RAF PERSONNEL ONLY.
Tickets are now priced as follows:
Adult (18+ years) £8.50
Young Person (7-17 years) £6.25
Family (2 x Adult, 2 x YP) £25.00

Children aged 0-6 are free when accompanied by an adult.
Adult (over 18) Tickets purchased on "the door" are £11.00
Young Persons (7-17) Tickets purchased on "the door" are £7.50
Setting Sons are a tribute to The Jam and pride themselves on recreating the sounds and the stage presence of Paul Weller and his band from 1977-1982. Since forming in 2003, Setting Sons have enabled fans of The Jam to hear all their favourite songs in a live situation and they have been busy entertaining audiences all over the UK to rave reviews.

Blondied are a fantastic tribute band to Debbie Harry and her band Blondie. With a set list that will appeal to all ages Blondied are the perfect band for a Fake Festival. With a great stage presence Michelle Hendricks pulls off an amazing look of Debbie and the band are note perfect. Blondied have been on the tribute band circuit for over 10 years and have been belting out such classics as 'Call Me', 'Hanging On The Telephone', 'Atomic', 'One Way Or Another' many more great hits. Make sure you arrive in time to catch 'Blondied' at a Fake Festival.

Antarctic Monkeys are probably one of the busiest tribute bands in the UK and easily one of the best. Ever since the release of 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' the Antarctic Monkeys have been on the road performing to packed venues up and down the UK. With a live set that virtually covers both albums their set is both high energy and powerful. Don't miss these guys.

Southwellz,a five piece indie band from the midlands,were formed in late 2009 starring Mike G (Vocals) Mike Brummitt (Guitar) Mowgli (Guitar) Glenn (Bass) and Kyle (Drums). They quickly went on to play their first gig in December to a packed out home crowd at the 'Nobody Inn'. Following such a fantastic reception the guys wasted no time in writing their own material & getting into the recording studio this month. With half the debut album already recorded, another session in the studio booked & gigs in the pipelines watch this space as Southwellz plan to 'Rip Up' 2010!!! The Southwellz will be playing a very special set for the Fake Festivals crowd mixing their signiture covers set with a few tracks of new original material!

The Lounge Crusade formed in 2009 from members of Lincoln bands The Idlers and Kadence with a view to writing good music, gigging across the country, and having a great time. With their melodic soft rock sound The Lounge Crusade have embraced many fans, this is what some of them have to say... Melodic piano and guitar driven indie... Doves, Embrace, Coldplay, Athlete... good vocals and it's perfectly executed. Bugbear Bookings London, January 2010. 10 peice soul band based in Lincoln, performing at various pubs around lincolnshire and beyond. Playing a wide variety of soul, funk and blues music. Including music from Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Duffy. Soul solution are the sort of band that you just cant help but dance along to.
The Beer Tent
There will be a licensed bar at the Festival serving Lager, Bitter, Magners Cider (330ml), Wine (Red, Rose & White), WKD Blue, Smirnoff Ice, Vodka, Bacardi, Jack Daniels & mixer to those over 18. The beer will be draft beer.
The bar will be open from 1pm until 15 minutes before the close of the event.
Soft drinks (coke, diet coke, tango, water etc) will also be available.
The bar is operated by a token system and all tokens are £2.50. One token will buy you one alcoholic drink and two soft drinks.
The Tokens are available inside the marquee next to the bar.
The Food Stands
There will be four types of food stands at the event serving food from 1pm.
BURGER & CHIPS
A Festival wouldn't be a Festival without the good old Burger & Chips to soak up some of the beer and keep you going well into the night.
HOT POTATOS/ VEGETARIAN / INDIAN / PIZZA
There will be a Hot Potato stand serving delicious Jacket Potatos with various fillings. Also on offer will be slices of Pizza and an Indian Selection.
HOG ROAST
There will be a delicious Hog Roast stand serving hot tasty pork with apple sauce in a bread bun along with other great fillings and sauces.
CREPES
For those with a sweet tooth there will be some very tasty home made crepes with various amazing toppings and fillings.
