Fake Festivals present the Scunthorpe Fake Festival featuring tributes to The Killers, Coldplay and Arctic Monkeys plus local support bands. All held inside the Fake Festivals marquee with a licensed bar and fenced food and entertainment garden area.
Tickets are now priced as follows:
Adult (18+ years) £17.00
Young Person (7-17 years) £12.50
Family (2 x Adult, 2 x YP) £50.00
Children aged 0-6 are free when accompanied by an adult.
Adult (over 18) Tickets purchased on "the door" are £22.00
Young Persons (7-17) Tickets purchased on "the door" are £15.00
The Fillers are undoubtedly one of the best tribute bands around at the present time. With lead singer Trevor Hurley the double of Brandon Flowers in everyway from the looks, stage presence and the voice, they really command the stage and give a performance that is simply not to be missed. Expect to see the stage dressed in true Killers style and Trevor and his band recreating the feel and atmosphere of such hits as Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me, When You Were Young, Human, Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine, Smile Like You Mean It, plus many more.

Coldplace totally recreate the sound and feel of Coldplay when they perform at Fake Festivals up and down the UK. As regulars on the Fake Festivals tour Coldplace know exactly how to entertain a festival crowd. Lead singer Shane Crofts not only sounds like Chris Martin but he moves and plays the piano as if his life means it. Expect to be mesmorised by the stage presence and the lazer show that Coldplace incorprate into their festival set. You will definately be singing along to Viva La Vida, Fix You, Yellow, Talk amongst many others in their hit after hit setlist. These are a true festival band that will have you wanting more and more.

Antarctic Monkeys are probably one of the busiest tribute bands in the UK and easily one of the best. Ever since the release of 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not' the Antarctic Monkeys have been on the road performing to packed venues up and down the UK. With a live set that virtually covers both albums their set is both high energy and powerful. Don't miss these guys.

The Relics are a 5 Piece Band based in the Scunthorpe area who play feel good music that will have you jumping along with them and singing along at the top of your voice. These guys certainly know how to entertain a crowd and will be ready to entertain everyone at the Fake Festival. Expect a set list that includes the songs from the following bands, Oasis, Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys and The Stereophonics to name but a few. Don't miss The Relics at the festival.
Zero Hour are a cracking local band with a bright future. Recent Class Act finalists they have played live on BBC Radio Humberside's Raw Talent show to rave reviews. Their set list consist of original material and some classic covers to get everyone at the festival in the spirit of things. These young lads are sure to be regulars on the Festival circuit around the area so make sure you arrive in time to give them your support at the Festival.
Here are the '4 Kicks' a local band with a terrific following in the area. They are 2009 Scunthorpe Rock Open Winners and have appeared on various radio stations and are currently storming through the heats of the 2010 Unsigned Live Act auditions up and down the country. These guys have a very busy schedule but luckily enough they have time for a bit of Fake Festival action so make sure you don't miss them!

3hour week are an established local band who've played venues around Scunthorpe and Lincolnshire for the past year. The four Scunthorpe boys have recently made the transition into becoming an original band but still have an arsenal of covers at their disposal ranging from Kings of Leon and the Killers, to Vampire Weekend and The Beatles. Their own materials is an energetic blend of disco beats, driving basslines and relentless riffage guarenteed to get the most timid of toe tappers dancing.
Local Gainsborough band Mantra do not need an introduction. Playing reguarly in venues from Sheffield to Nottingham along with exclusive gigs at nationally renowed venues such as Hard Rock Cafe and Sheffields Boardwalk plus previous performances in Europe and Mexico the band play a broad range of covers from the 70's through to modern day classics! Mantra always entertain mixing accoustic surprises with full on rock classics!
The Beer Tent
There will be a licensed bar at the Festival serving Lager, Bitter, Magners Cider (330ml), Wine (Red, Rose & White), WKD Blue, Smirnoff Ice, Vodka, Bacardi, Jack Daniels & mixer to those over 18. The beer will be draft beer.
The bar will be open from 1pm until close of the event.
Soft drinks (coke, diet coke, tango, water etc) will also be available.
To avoid lengthy queues at the bar, drinks tokens will be purchased from a separate part of the venue and only those tokens can be exchanged for drinks over the bar. This is to avoid waiting time to be served. Tokens are exchanged for all types of drinks over the bar.
Purchase enough tokens from the token stand to keep you going for a few rounds of drinks for you and your friends.
Tokens will be released at 1pm on the day of the festival and available throughout the event, security will inform you where to go when you enter the marquee.
The Food Stands
There will be four types of food stands at the event serving food from 1pm.
BURGER & CHIPS
A Festival wouldn't be a Festival without the good old Burger & Chips to soak up some of the beer and keep you going well into the night.
HOT POTATOS/ VEGETARIAN / INDIAN / PIZZA
There will be a Hot Potato stand serving delicious Jacket Potatos with various fillings. Also on offer will be slices of Pizza and an Indian Selection.
HOG ROAST
There will be a delicious Hog Roast stand serving hot tasty pork with apple sauce in a bread bun along with other great fillings and sauces.
CREPES
For those with a sweet tooth there will be some very tasty home made crepes with various amazing toppings and fillings.
