Food and Drink

Fake Festivals want you to enjoy your time at the Festival meeting friends and family and having a social drink and enjoying food whilst listening to some great live music.

Drinks Tokens

The bar works on a token system to reduce the need for bar staff to handle change and therefore make your trip to the bar quicker and more efficient.


A token booth is situated within the marquee where you exchange money for tokens and these tokens are used in exchange for drinks. Drinks tokens are non refundable.

Alcoholic Drinks

Alcoholic drinks are 1 token:

Lager (Pint)
Bitter (Pint)
Cider (Pint)
Magners Cider (330ml) (no ice)
Wine (White, Rose, Red) (187ml)
Vodka shot + mixer
Bacardi shot + mixer
Jack Daniels shot + mixer
WKD (275ml)
Smirnoff Ice (275ml)


Soft Drinks

Soft drinks are 2 per 1 token (1 token will buy you 2 x the following):

Coke (500ml)
Diet Coke (500ml)
Sprite (500ml)
Tango (500ml)
Water (500ml)


Food Stands

There will be food stands at the Festival which will be situated in the fenced entertainment zone area adjacent to the marquee and only accessible from inside the marquee. At each festival there will be a minimum of four quality local food stands offering different types of food throughout the festival.


Please do not bring your own food to the festival, you will not be allowed to bring it into the marquee.


Entertainment

Outside in the "Entertainment Zone" will be various stands, stalls and entertainment stands to keep festival goers amused and entertained. The types of entertainment will vary from festival location to location but generally consist of "Face painting", Surf board/bucking bronco rides, golf games, football games etc. Along with the entertainment there will be various stands selling goods. The toilets are located in the "Entertainment Zone"!


Food and Alcohol Policy at a Fake Festival

Drinkaware Under 25

Security will check ID of anyone who looks 25 and under. If they cannot prove their age by any of the following forms of identification, which are compliant with the following then they will be issued an under 18 coloured wristband.

  1. The card has a verifiable means of accreditation for the information held upon it. (i.e. issued by Central or Local Government, recommended by Home Office or ACPO, supported by Government e.g. Photo Driving Licence; Passport; PASS card)
  2. The information on the card provides the date of birth of the holder
  3. The card provides information to identify the holder both by name and photograph
  4. The card can be authenticated beyond reasonable doubt to avoid acceptance of fake/fraudulent identification.

Alcohol will only be served to those with an Over 18 coloured wristband.


Bar staff will ask for ID at point of sale at the bar and also the security guards at the entrance will ask for ID so please ensure you bring any of the above forms of ID with you if you appear to look 25 years and under.


Only food and drink purchased at the Festival must be consumed, please do not bring any food or drink into the Festival as it will be removed by the security guards.
